Psalms 35
Key verse 35:28
" My tongue will speak of your righteousness and of your praises all day long."
This chapter has been part of my healing source. I often get frustrated over past hurts and current pains. They all center around mistreatment, lies, slandering, and people seeking to destroy me with no cause. Having to deal with all this is burdensome and quite frankly makes me angry and want to scream. Even through all this God wants me to praise him. This is hard, but I have to do it anyway. It is the only way ill get through and give God my battles.
This psalm of David encourages me, even through him expressing how he is being treated and the bad thoughts of others toward him he ends with him exalting the Lord and his tongue always speaking of Gods righteousness and praising him. What a good practice! No matter the frustration and pain that others try to throw at you do not allow them to detour you from praising God! Do not allow your lips to speak maliciously or out of spite. Just continue to do good and repay evil for good as this will reap burning coals on their head. Meaning that is is more painful for them to see that you are doing good rather than stooping to their level. People think that repaying evil will satisfy you and them, but it is really peace! So continue to praise the Lord and do not let it leave your lips! Trust and believe that God is everywhere and he is just, let him handle your situations. Just continue as I am learning to keep your mouth from speaking evil and not let negativety stop you from exemplifying Christs Character!
With Love,
Kendra
